We were thinking of making our first meet up simple and low key so that members have a better opportunity to get to know each other before our first real get together at a restaurant or activity. Our thought was to have a meet and greet at our home in Weymouth from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 29th. We will have some cheese & crackers, wine & beer, as well as some non-alcoholic beverages. Please also feel free to bring an appetizer or your favorite drink. This year we will combine two of our favorite events.........food and dropping off donations to the Hull Seaside Animal Rescue Animal Shelter. We will start the day riding to Karen's house for brunch.....she always has some yummy eats! We will leave and ride with our eventual destination at the Hull animal shelter to drop off donations to the shelter and visit with the cats. This shelter has cats only......Maybe someone wants to adopt one???? From there we will do the coastal route up Jersalem Road in Cohasset and eventually end up at June's house for dessert. Rent a tube, jump in the water and float down 2.5 miles of the beautiful waters of the Farmington River in Connecticut. http://www.farmingtonrivertubing.com/ We will ride directly to the river in Connecticut on Saturday morning. The ride down will be mostly highway. After tubing we will ride about 30 minutes to the Springhill Suites by Marriott in Windsor Locks and then go to dinner. https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/bdlwl-springhill-suites-hartford-airport-windsor-locks/ On Sunday we will ride to the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls, MA on the Mohawk Trail. Standish Humane Society is holding it's annual fund raiser -- Folk & Furfest / Walk for Animals at Wompatuck Park in Hingham on Sunday, Sept 19, 2010. New England Thunder volunteers to be there with our bikes. We allow people and pets to have their pictures taken on our bikes for a donation to the Humane Society. Bring a folding chair, some snacks and drinks. We will be there approx 10 to 2 pm........... We can meet for breakfast before the event. This is a good community event and and also good promotion for our club !

Ride For Blue Motorcycle Ride When: Saturday September 25th 2010 | Registration at 9:00 am. Ride leaves at 11:00 am. Where: 1014 Pearl Street, Brockton, MA Join us for our annual motorcycle ride through the back roads of Easton and West Bridgewater. Registration starts at 9:00 am at JM Pet Resort, 1014 Pearl Street in Brockton. The ride leaves as 11:00am. Enjoy a one hour ride led by the Brockton Blue Knights, and police escorted.
